Late last year, the Swiss franc (CHF) hit recent highs against both the U.S. dollar (USD) and the euro (EUR). Analysts at Rabobank looked at the outlook for the Swiss franc.
The Swiss franc tends to show strength when the Eurozone faces challenges. With the German economy at a standstill, the Swiss franc could be an attractive option as a way to diversify trade.
Rabobank’s core view is that the EUR/CHF pair is likely to remain around 0.93 in 1 to 3 months. This forecast has recently been revised down from the previous forecast of 0.94.
