The Bank of Japan, Ministry of Finance (MoF), and Financial Services Agency (FSA) are set to convene in a tri-party meeting on Wednesday, as announced by the Finance Ministry.
Masato Kanda, the Vice Finance Minister for International Affairs, is slated to provide insights to reporters following the conclusion of the meeting.
This gathering comes against the backdrop of the Japanese Yen plummeting to its lowest level in 34 years against the US Dollar, registering at 151.97.
In response to these developments, the USD/JPY pair experienced a sharp decline, reaching a fresh intraday low near 151.25, marking a 0.20% decrease for the day.
