Japan’s government may allocate more than 29 trillion yen ($198.6 billion) to support its economy due to rising utility, food and fuel prices, Japan’s NHK TV reported.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida therefore met with Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki on October 27, and initially agreed to allocate more than 29 trillion yen. It is expected that the details of the new package of economic support measures may be officially announced on October 28.
