The full name of RMB is the People’s Republic of China.
(RMB) is the legal tender of the People’s Republic of China. The People’s Bank of China is the competent authority for the administration of RMB and is responsible for the design, printing and issuance of RMB.

In Cantonese, “yuan, jiao and fen” are called “mosquito, millio and fairy” respectively.
By December 2021, RMB has been issued to the fifth set.

“Yuan”, “jiao” and “fen” of RMB are all infinite legal compensation, which is different from some currencies. For example, “yuan” is infinite legal compensation, while currencies below “yuan” are limited legal compensation.
