In July, the total turnover of China’s foreign exchange market was 21.39 trillion yuan

According to data released by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange of China on August 26, in July 2022, the total turnover of China’s foreign exchange market (excluding the foreign currency pair market, the same below) was 21.39 trillion yuan (equivalent to 3.18 trillion U.S. dollars). Among them, the bank-to-customer market turnover was 3.29 trillion yuan (equivalent to US$0.49 trillion), and the inter-bank market turnover was 18.10 trillion yuan (equivalent to US$2.69 trillion); the cumulative turnover of the spot market was 8.23 trillion yuan (equivalent to US$ 0.49 trillion). Equivalent to 1.22 trillion U.S. dollars), the cumulative turnover of the derivatives market was 13.17 trillion yuan (equivalent to 1.96 trillion U.S. dollars).
