The probability of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates by 75BP by June is 50%

According to CME “Fed Watch”, the probability of the Fed raising interest rates by 25 basis points in March to the range of 4.75%-5.00% is 90.8%, and the probability of raising interest rates by 50 basis points to the range of 5.00%-5.25% is 9.2%;

The probability of a cumulative rate hike of 25 basis points by May is 17.8%, the probability of a cumulative rate hike of 50 basis points is 74.8%, and the probability of a cumulative rate hike of 75 basis points to the range of 5.25%-5.50% is 7.4%. The probability of accumulative rate hike of 75 basis points by June is 49.7%.
